day-1 : When in Hong Kong

day-1 : When in Hong Kong

so here’s the story about my holiday to HongKong on 29 April – 2 May with my colleague/friend, Lia.

wednesday, 29 April, we touched down the HK international airport, went straight to the hotel nearby causeway bay station. we decided to take taxi instead of the MTR, since we didn’t have enough time and just hope we could reached the hotel as fast as possible. the taxi divided into 3 groups, based on each island, which i think it’s very effective. we checked in and dropped our bags at our room, at level 33. then headed to our first stop, st. Peter’s church and the post office at the east tsim sha tsui station. <( ̄︶ ̄)>

i thought i could read the map i already printed out and find the church easily, but we didn’t. but the post office is just next to–what supposed to be–the church. it was exactly 6PM when we arrived at the door at the post office, and the officer just closed the door in front of us. i was disappointed, but there’s nothing we could do. so we headed to the Avenue of The Stars. ⌒(o^▽^o)ノ

the avenue was something different to see. it was almost like you invinsibly meet all the famous asian stars. and there i–once again–met the most handsome asian man on earth; Andy Lau (Tak-Wah)!!! i met him once on singapore’s mrt, and i took the wrong train because of him! LOL. anyway, back to the story. after took some pictures and selfies, we had our dinner at the Nobu InterContinental Hotel Restaurant. it’s a japanese restaurant and famous for the delicious sushi. we did the reservation before we went there, so we had indoor seat just next to the window so we could enjoy the symphony of light at night. (((o(*゚▽゚*)o)))

we headed back to the hotel soon after the dinner, not too late so we could have enough rest for our disney-day tomorrow.
